Function
This product opens up the internal structure of cotton or viscose fibre so dye and other chemicals penetrate faster and more evenly. It is used ahead of dyeing on fabric or yarn that has historically been slow or uneven to dye, such as tightly woven or high-twist material. The result is a shorter dyeing cycle and a more level shade.

Handling and storage
Handle with gloves and eye protection. Swelling agents are typically run at elevated pH or temperature, so follow the bath's own handling precautions, not just those for the auxiliary itself.
